A fleeting moment that had my grandsons in splits! This image was a strong contender, and the little ones’ choice for “an image that makes me laugh or smile” for my 7 Super shots
Wasn’t too incongruous on that beach either.
Do check out my first entry here and other fellow bloggers interpretations here
Thank you, and have a great weekend.

Great image and color.
Thank you Susan.
Hi,
What a great photo, and I learned something new as well, I didn’t even know Sarong vendors even existed.
Thanks Mags. He was selling sarongs, so I called him ‘sarong vendor’
I just hopped onto my reader and saw this picture….so vibrant, and er “colorful”. Thanks for making me smile!
Glad you enjoyed it. thank you Elisa
I LOVE this shot! Made me laugh! Maybe it cooled him down a bit by a gentle breeze or something!
Maybe! The kids couldn’t stop giggling
I agree, great moment, great picture!
Thanks Bente
Yeah
I can understand why this made them laugh
Thanks Colline

Thank you Cravesadventure, you too
Love it Madhu! I’m sure we’ve all seen scenes like this before…
All the time, but this was a rather colourful scene
Thanks.

such colour!
In every sense of the word
haha… what an entry!
Thank you Arvee
Fleeting indeed
Thank you Shaantz
You’ve certainly captured ‘The’ Moment…..ha ha..
Thank you Sabina
Ha! Made me goggle too, Madhu
Hey…it’s the beach….
There were far worse sights on that beach that i was too self conscious to shoot
Appreciate the visit Kate
“Wasn’t too incongruous on that beach either” – Totally in keeping, I’d say. Funny how we become habituated to seeing things like that. I had to look carefully to see why your grandson was splitting himself and it was only when I recalled you using this colloquialism in a way I wasn’t accustomed to, that it occurred to me: yea: he was sporting a crack. A great fleeting moment. But I do like the dog walker best:)
Me too, but I couldn’t resist sharing this one
Oh no. Especially as it was a contended for your 7 shots series:)

Too cute, if I saw him I would have to stop myself from hoiking them up!
Ha ha…..I was sorely tempted to myself
That vendor was in dire need of a sarong himself.
Great entry, Madhu.
He sure was
Thanks AD.
Such amazing colors!
That is Ipanema on a Sunday morning for you Ledia
Colourful and vibrant
I really must go there some day. How very, very lovely. Thank you so much for sharing, Madhu.
You made me laugh lady
. Did you buy a sarong?
No I didn’t Paula. I enjoyed being the fully clothed gawker

Natural air conditioning!…ha, ha, ha.
Yeah, I can imagine he was very cool and comfortable
RED Flag! RED Flag! RED Flag! Madhu, you so foul. Hehe. Someone has to be er? bold to show true sightings right?
I couldn’t ignore that now could I ?
Makes me want another beach vacation. I don’t think it’ll be this summer though.
This one is more suited for gawking
Wouldn’t be able to relax with that many people!
It is a funny shot and I can see how kids would love it… I’d love one of those colorful sarongs for the summer.
The kids couldn’t stop giggling
The sarongs look beautiful don’t they?
A post with a great sense of humor. I think I’d been to a similar situation as your grand son before. Although pretty much I probably didn’t notice it cause I was having a great time. Thanks for sharing this…
Thanks island traveler
This is definitely a moment in time. Is that extra skin I see in the rear of the photo? MMmmmm … sometimes, I don’t see something like that happening when I’m taking the photo but what fun afterwards when it’s there.
Great shot … love it ….!!!!
Thanks Isadora
Great shot Mahu! I was wondering…does anyone ever see you snap the picture and then get upset? I wondered about this last night when I snapped the photo of the little boy. His mother didn’t see, but I wondered about it…
I always worry Arnel…about how they will react and about the ethics of it. Would i like someone to post a surreptitious shot of me on their blog? Tough one. I don’t usually photograph people, at least not without permission. This one i couldn’t resist
Your entry is beautiful. Shall return to read all your posts once I have caught up with my comments.
Nice
DJ-
Thank you DJ
Fabulous! The colors are spectacular!
Thank you. That is Rio for you, especially on the weekend
Terrific photo. Well, when I visited in Rio in the 70ties there were no sarong vendors at those days.
Thanks Sartenada
