Such a lovely, serene photo.
Beautiful picture.
It’s also amazing how these temples and yagura are constructed; usually with one or two super long hewn logs erected side-by-side for vertical stability, and then floors and features are constructed around them. This extremely old method works very well at keeping these old edifices from moving laterally and collapsing in extremely heavy earthquakes.
