I have always been amazed at the size of single rooms in Italy. I have had rooms where the bathroom was larger than the bedroom. I always caution friends going to Italy not to expect anything like American hotel rooms. That said, since the goal is to see Italy, travelers shouldn’t plan on spending much time in their room anyway. 🙂
