“In fact, everything we encounter in this world with our six senses is an inkblot test. You see what you are thinking and feeling, seldom what you are looking at.”
~ Buddhist Quote

“There is nothing insignificant in this world.
It all depends on the point of view.”
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Absolutely gorgeous take on the challenge.
Thank you Angeline. Thought yours was very clever ๐
Great take on the challenge, Madhu… And a beautifully rich, stunning image. ๐
Thanks Sue. Thought yours was very beautiful too ๐
Well, we’re in the mutual appreciation society, and that’s great! ๐
๐
Mine comes in the insignificant category, Madhu, but yours is purely beautiful. ๐
Thank you. To me yours was delightfully whimsical Jo ๐
I love the Budhist quote Madhu – it’s such a simple truth that we don’t really think about it until it is pointed out like that. Photos wonderful as always ๐
Thanks Kym! Hope my gaffe is forgiven ๐
I am still trying to figure out the view of the first photo. I like the focus on the hands in the second.
Thanks Colline. The first is a Buddha statue with its head and shoulders hidden from view. Only the pedestal and the torso are visible. i considered posting the full shot, but it wouldn’t have met the challenge ๐
Now I understand. Thanks for explaining ๐
So artistic. As always. ๐
As you are always kind…thanks Juliann ๐
A really unusual take on the challenge. The quotes you have used really illuminate your photos.
Thank you for stopping by to let me know Suzanne. Much appreciated ๐
Great shots and fabulous quotes Madhu. I hope you are well and that your weekend is a lovely one ๐
Thanks Ishaiya. A lovely weekend to you too.
We are in Bangalore to celebrate dad in law’s 92nd! ๐ Back this week.
I hope it was a marvellous celebration! ๐
These are fantastic Madhu!
Glad you like them Kathryn. Hubby couldn’t figure out what the first one was ๐
It was the entrance to a tower ,no?

The image of the hand in the second photo is very powerful, Madhu. Very nice!
The hand positions, or Mudras, of the Buddha are full of meaning Elisa. Was trying to focus on the reassurance and safety conveyed by this mudra. Glad you liked it ๐
Amazing photos, Madhu. Great for the challenge. ๐
Thank you Sylvia ๐
Thought provoking quotes on unusual point of view. That second picture in particular is stunning.
I was fascinated by the reassurance conveyed by that giant hand Lynne. Happy you felt it too ๐
I really like the Buddhist quote at the top… It is so true!
The thing about brilliant quotes is their simplicity. They put into words what we knew all along, but couldn’t articulate.
Touche!
An inspired entry Madhu, I really like the Goethe quote, perfect ๐
Very well captured photos – really like the Goethe quote… ๐
Interesting POVs, Madhu ๐
If only we could banish our arrogance we humans would then see we are just one part of a multitude of others. Really lovely post Madhu, inspiring point of view.
My favourite was the view through that little door, a glimpse of the wonder to come
Great photos Madhu. Love the hand in the second one.
Excellent photos and they meet the challenge. I love the peek into the entry way in the first photo.
That “inkblot” quote is so well said and very true!!! [also, very similar to Goethe’s!]
Really unusual views, Madhu and great angles!
Happy weekend! ๐
Lovely shots. And the Buddhist quote is so beautiful!
Great photos for POV!
Madu, we’re so caught up in our [own] selfishness that we forget to “live” in the Gift of the fleeting instant… I wish you a lovely sunday :-)claudine
Perfect closing quote to accompany the POV photos!
great clicks for this challenge.
Amazing Post once again Madu ๐
Dear Madhu,
I love your own unique POV that you bring to this challenge. That last photo is really taken from an interesting angle. Great post!
Well done, Madhu.

What our life experiences and reference points say is the truth – truth for us – but as long as we humble ourselves that there could be greater truths.
All good wishes,
Eric
P/s Unusual shots indeed.
That’s the bodhisattva in you, humbled by my visit here, nam myo ho renge kyo…
nice ๐
Nice shots…
magnificent glimpses of the buddhas … and telling quotes inviting us all to look afresh … thanks Madhu ๐
I love the Buddhist quote, and the unusual points of view of Buddha!

This reminds of one of the very first few posts I read from your blog…the one with a giant Buddha picture. ๐
What a lovely think-worthy post!
Lovely shots!

Great take on this and the quotes are not less great! I love the buddhist one and of course Goethe, but as a woman I have to admire Simone de Beauvoir…
Excellent response to the challenge, Madhu.
Great shots Madhu and I love the quotes. Buddha was so wise. ๐
Love the quote and the images! Todaiji is so magnificent, and even moreso in person. Great one Madhu!
