      1. Oh, don’t underestimate yourself Madhu. I think they’re stunning but thank you for the lovely compliment. πŸ˜€

  1. Giraffes are beautiful(ly) elegant. Now for us they were also a nuisance and a great danger, when driving at night near Karen Blixen’s Ngong hills. One had to be wary of a giraffe crossing the road at full speed. In the US, a deer crossing and hitting your car can be a major accident. Imagine a giraffe! We had one or two close scares! But nothing happened. Thanks for sharing Madhu.
    Be good

    1. You are most welcome Brian. I loved watching them, especially the family groups with young ones. I can imagine how they could be a nuisance. We had issues with marauding elephants and wild boar on the plantations.
      I was good (mostly) πŸ˜€

  2. Happy trails! Are there three of you? And are you as elegant as this photo you leave us as token until your return?
    I bet you are!

  3. Ah, first I thought the lovely giraffes were the sisters…but then I understood! Maybe there is a connection? I can see you had a wonderful time. I’m happy for you all – wish I had siblings.

    1. Those three giraffes are siblings Ann Christine. (Not entirely sure they are all sisters πŸ™‚ ). We spent a wonderful week traveling up our South Western coast catching up with extended family. And eating!

    1. Thank you Imelda. I can assure you we are all well past that stage of sweetness, but I thought it was a good representation πŸ™‚

  4. love the analogy – and the image as well. based on the comments you’ve made, it sounds like you had an enjoyable time together. good to hear! πŸ™‚

  5. oh…. sister time is sometimes the best of times – and I hope you had a great time with your sister time (oh boy that is a lot of times I used the word time- lol – time for some zzzzs for me) anyhow, I love the giraffe photos too – great for joy is…. post – have a nice week –

    1. A fabulous time Jo. We traveled to our hometown together, then went up the West coast to Goa for a couple of days to meet more cousins. And eat! πŸ™‚ Missing my younger sister already (She is an American citizen!)

Let me know what you think
