Giraffes are beautiful(ly) elegant. Now for us they were also a nuisance and a great danger, when driving at night near Karen Blixen’s Ngong hills. One had to be wary of a giraffe crossing the road at full speed. In the US, a deer crossing and hitting your car can be a major accident. Imagine a giraffe! We had one or two close scares! But nothing happened. Thanks for sharing Madhu.
Be good
Brian
You are most welcome Brian. I loved watching them, especially the family groups with young ones. I can imagine how they could be a nuisance. We had issues with marauding elephants and wild boar on the plantations.
I was good (mostly) 😀
Ah, first I thought the lovely giraffes were the sisters…but then I understood! Maybe there is a connection? I can see you had a wonderful time. I’m happy for you all – wish I had siblings.
Those three giraffes are siblings Ann Christine. (Not entirely sure they are all sisters 🙂 ). We spent a wonderful week traveling up our South Western coast catching up with extended family. And eating!
oh…. sister time is sometimes the best of times – and I hope you had a great time with your sister time (oh boy that is a lot of times I used the word time- lol – time for some zzzzs for me) anyhow, I love the giraffe photos too – great for joy is…. post – have a nice week –
A fabulous time Jo. We traveled to our hometown together, then went up the West coast to Goa for a couple of days to meet more cousins. And eat! 🙂 Missing my younger sister already (She is an American citizen!)
Beautiful take and must have been a great experience taking the snaps…
It was. Thanks Nihar.
Wonderful capture !
Thank you for your visit and comment 🙂
And happy travels to you! Love that first image 🙂

Thank you very much Sonel. They are not a patch on your stunning wildlife shots 🙂
Oh, don’t underestimate yourself Madhu. I think they’re stunning but thank you for the lovely compliment. 😀

They are such majestic animals.
They are. And so very elegant. The young ones seemed to tiptoe like little ballerinas!! 🙂
Beautiful capture, Madhu. Have a great family time. 🙂

Happy trails! Are there three of you? And are you as elegant as this photo you leave us as token until your return?
I bet you are!
Yes, I am the middle sister Judith. I wish we were half as elegant as these beautiful creatures 🙂

Oh sweet, Madhu. 🙂
Thank you Imelda. I can assure you we are all well past that stage of sweetness, but I thought it was a good representation 🙂
