2012 – My Year In Pictures!

A flashback gallery with one random image from the archives for each month of the past year. Just to set things straight, we only visited Japan, Laos and Cambodia in 2012. The rest are stories from our travels over the past few years.

I look forward to the pleasure of your company on another year of travel stories from across the world.

    1. Don’t be 🙂 Only Japan and Laos (also Cambodia, but haven’t posted about it yet) are from this year. The rest are stories from past travels.

    1. Oh no no Cathy! These are from my posts from the past year, that cover travel from years past 🙂 Have amended my post to dispel confusion.

      1. Oh! It always seems to me that you are traveling every minute of every day!! 🙂 I keep thinking, that lucky Madhu!! Anyway, I’m glad to share in your travels whenever you took them!! 🙂

  2. This has to be the most amazing gallery of photos I have seen. Thanks Madhu for allowing me to be an armchair traveler with you this past year. 🙂

  3. Wonderful and rich choice of photos – my favorites is the mural, little boy and 2 girls.
I want to ask you how you manage to arrange your photos like that – I would like to do mine year too, but not until March.

  4. Fab. post review for the year of 2012! I recall many of great stories you have shared. Thank you, Madhu!

  9. What a year of blogging Madhu! I’ve enjoyed reading your stories andd seeing the photos from all corners of the globe – it’s certainly a big inspiration to save and travel more! Love the storytelling too, especially all the historical tidbits. 😀 Happy New Year Madhu, and may you have many more adventures in the coming months!

  10. I wasn’t going to do this, but I saw a couple of good selections elsewhere (before I saw yours I mean) so I did it in the end. I didn’t pick any ‘special’ photos – just dipped randomly into photo files each month, so some had been published before and others hadn’t. It was fun to do.

I like the cloister one in your selection. It oozes peace and tranquility – and timelessness.

  11. You had quite the whirlwind year there with lots of travel. 🙂
Glad to reconnect with you this year and many thanks for the blog support.

Cheers to you Madhu for another eventful and picturesque New Year.
