Ah so ctrue… then leopards don’t change their spots right? And the spot!
Mention food, and there you are!! 🙂 Hope all is well with you Ishita.
Yes… thanks you!
Nice catch Madhu! He is definitely having a good time up there 🙂
Yes, and with plenty left over for an evening snack 🙂
The perfect afternoon 🙂
Sure looks like it Maya 🙂
Great capture, Madhu!
Thank you Naomi. I thought this contented cat was perfect for Kan’s ‘Joy is’ series.
Oh, what a joyful sighting… what great fortune…
It was indeed Sally. We waited a while for him to wake up, but he didn’t budge 🙂
They look soooooooo relaxed. 🙂
The second is a close up of the same leopard Frank. I bet sneaking up to his kill would have galvanized him into action 🙂
I guess the view from the treetop is magnificent,
but it can’t see it with the eyes closed… 😀
Very well captured, Madhu… 🙂
Thanks Drake. Did you notice the kill tucked safely onto the branch at upper right?
Yes – so I guess the cat have a half an eye there – watching no one would be tempting… 😀
Absolutely. Would be at their own risk.
Thanks. Seems to be sleeping like a baby doesn’t he? 🙂
Fabulous shot, Madhu. He looks so relaxed that I was afraid he might fall out of the tree. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia. I was told not to be fooled by their apparent oblivion! 🙂
I wouldn’t want to share his dinner!
Me neither Gilly!!! But his contentment is so appealing 🙂
Wow! Beautifully captured, Madhu!
Thank you Sandhya.
Wow! Amazing that you saw this. Looks so comfortable there.
I used to loll around on trees when I was young. But I don’t particularly remember it as being this comfortable Colline! 🙂
ha! that’s exactly how i feel! this is day six in the same clothes as the airlines tried to find my lost bags! these images gave me a chuckle… they are also gorgeous! z
Losing my luggage is my worst nightmare when I travel Lisa. My daughter teases me no end, but I always carry a change in my cabin bag however constrained I am for space. Hope you are reunited with your clothes already. Appreciate your taking the time to read in the midst of your baggage woes 🙂
Yikes, is that the big cats kill up in the branches? Great photos!
Thanks. And yes, that is the lunch I was referring to! 🙂
Thank you for the visit and comment Estelea. Delighted to meet you 🙂
Same here! Looking forward to your next posts already 🙂
Wonderful shot of that leopard. I’m amazed at how it can sleep soundly without falling from the tree.
Thanks Ian. I am even more amazed by how they manage to drag up heavy kills all the way up those trees!!
Gorgeous kitty and I bet he’s purring, too. How they can dangle from a tree is amazing. Great shot, Madhu.
Thanks Lynne. He certainly seemed to be purring 🙂 (Do leopards purr? I forgot to ask!)
Super shot Madhu👍. Beautiful
and thanks for the share.
Thank you. And you are most welcome Dilip.
He looks like one happy cat. It’s tempting to want that kind of lifestyle, but it probably has its drawbacks, like having to run down and catch your food all the time. 🙂 Wonderful pictures.
And go without for days on end. No wonder he looks satisfied! 🙂 Thanks David.
brilliant and amazing!
Thank you Mihrank.
The photos perfectly depicts a ‘siesta’. Well caught Madhu! I love it 🙂
Thanks Sonia. I love that paw tucked under his chin. It slipped while I was clicking the wider shot above! 🙂
What an awesome capture. He looks so satisfied and free of any troubles!!! I am feeling so blessed, that you shared your joy again, Madhu 🙂 Thanks so much for the linkback.
You are welcome. Your ‘Joy’ series is a brilliant idea. And I thought this one fit the bill 🙂
Oh my!!!!! I absolutely love it Madhu!!!! That is happiness and satisfaction!!! 🙂
Glad you do Ilargia. That is quite an irresistible sight 🙂
I absolutely agree….There is something cute about those animals…Even if they are not Little cats at all…!!!
Thanks Norma 🙂
What a great shot, Madhu! Such a beautiful creature and naps are always nice, too! 🙂
Wonderful take, great shots…
Breathtaking shots! What a way to catch forty winks!
Oh how true! Wonderful photography Madhu – love these shots 🙂
Hanging leopards! Marvelous. I should have been there!!! The photos are mind-blowing, Madhu!!
That one makes me sleepy.. 🙂 Ah.. the joy of a full stomach and warmth of the sun blessing you…!
It absolutely is, Madhu! 🙂 Darn! You just reminded me that I still haven’t managed a ‘Joy is’ 🙂
Wow! Fantastic shot! Hopefully life won’t take me up in a tree as prey, but you never know!
Love this, it makes me joyful.
Awesome photographs Madhu!
Is that a cat nap? S/he looks so well rested. 😉
Awesome! Happy Friday! Have an amazing weekend!
Great captures Madhu!
Seeing a leopard would be bliss for me. Amazing captures, Madhu.
My opinion is that cats (not only but especially!) of all size and colour are adorable so these shots couldn’ t be more perfect for my liking, Madhu! Beautiful – laid back with all problems on life forgotten completely 🙂
I can’t think of the last time I had such a blissful sleep…maybe I should climb a tree and relax! Wonderful shots!
Soooo relaxed. Shhhh don’t disturb…
Compliments. You’re extremely lucky to have caught a leopard. (chui in swahili) Never could! Hiding all the time. 🙂
That is an amazing capture, by both you and the leopard, Madhu!
Oh wow Madhu! What a stunning capture of this beauty! Now that is life indeed! Stunning post and photo hon. 😀
These shots are phenomenal. All they’re lacking is orples. 🙂 On a serious note, I truly am impressed with your shares.
completely relaxed! maybe the leopard in Africa lives more comfortable than the tiger in India?
The poor things cannot climb trees Frizz 🙂
Wow, true joy! I wish I could do that too, LOL! 😉 😀
Such a joy!! Amazing capture 🙂 Love it.
What a wise cat!!! 😀 Great photos of it, too. 🙂
Thank you Kathryn😀
Did you loose a leopard, Madhu? The orples seem to have found one. We thought it might be yours. LOL. 🙂
Ha, glad the Orples returned unscathed Marcy😄
Brilliant capture!! Love it so much 😉
Thenk you very much Indah. Means a lot coming from you!😊
Dangling paws. Absolutely carefree!
Absolutely! 🙂 Apologies for the belated response. Have a great year ahead!
