Exactly right, Madhu, and Christine would have loved those buds! What a glorious shot in her honour. Many’s the time I think of her if I catch a glimpse of an old photo or a post that she liked. She was a warm and beautiful person. 🙂
So strange, Madhu! I’ve just commented on Gilly’s reblog that I can remember that awful moment as I stared at the screen, unable to absorb the words. We never know what’s coming, darling. Enjoy your life, Madhu (and get that next trip booked 🙂 )
Debbie, I popped over with the intention of spending some time on your blog yesterday, but things got in the way. I was there long enough to spot ‘Chikangunia’. Hope you are well on the way to recovery. Take care.
The souls/minds will came back to samsara… unfortunately we are not capable to manage this… and in our heart we will always keep the remembering of those who were at our side giving love and commitment… and the memory remains vivid

So perfect for a beautiful lady. I was on the way to house sit for Christine’s son and daughter-in-law and was devastated when we got the news. I got to know her family and regretted the missed opportunity to meet Christine
Absolutely my feelings. I’ve just emailed Stuart, saying much the same, but not so beautifully, and not so much as she would have remembered.
I know, this was on behalf of all of us Meg.
Perfectly put Madhu!
Reblogged this on Lucid Gypsy and commented:
Thank you Madhu, this a perfect way to remember our friend. Christine will always be in my heart, it was a privilege to know her,
It sure was Gilly.
Madhu, it sounds like you lost a dear friend through…….
A year ago Cornelia, although it doesn’t seem so.
Madhu, a year seems like nothing, since the pain and the wound haven’t healed yet. Yet, the cherished memories will stay for ever.
How true!
Ian, I would never have believed virtual connections could feel so strong before I started blogging!
so true…
Once a friend, always a friend – I believe.
The photo is nice, very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Tushar. That’s from the flower market in Kolkata.
Beautifully said, Madhu

Yes, she was beautiful in every sense of the word Jo, and it is uncanny how strongly we all connected with her.
